Our Poetry for Greta
Glass Beads
by Iris
I never knew you.
I wish now I did.
I wonder what is was like to be you
So sad now you’re dead.
I can’t help but cry
It feels like I’ve just stood by
And watched a beautiful enchanting lady,
Die.
The glass beads of time will still go on
The sands of our lives still drop
But your imprint will last on us all
Until it’s time for us to stop.

inside your mind
by Mary
a gray morning
and we're crying
thought we knew you
we were wrong
we didn't see it coming
faceless voices
let out one cry
we're thinking of you
and praying for you
i hope you can hear us
all your pain
we can never fathom
never know your thoughts
inside your mind
the heavy burden you carried
i only wish you knew
you were never alone
are you here
are you an angel now?
have you achieved my dream
of no more pain
no more tears to be shed
we shouldn't cry
for you must be in heaven
the love and light of angel's wings
are yours now you've
shed your wings of madness
look upon me
you suffered the same as me
and did what I could not
help me please
for now you are an angel
now your suffering's over
and I must suffer on
what was it
inside your mind
that made you chose
to fall
to that eternal sleep?

how to tell when you were sad,
i always thought that you were glad.
is it possble for me to see,
you as you and not as me.
what to do, now you are dead,
for your life was surely dread.
why did you not tell me so,
is that why you chose to go.
we both know it was not the way,
i knew i'd say good-bye someday.
